I learned that you never trust topps release dates, never preorder unless you feel you need to( because rapid price fluxes will occur that usually cause the product to drop in price after the first month of excitment) buy a box  or 2 for opening sake, but buy the cards you want and you will have money again.
dont buy to invest( or you will die inside when your dual mat msrp $400 is going for $80 on ebay), buy to enjoy
case breaks are the most fun way to open the new product, THANK YOU ROLL and ALL PARTICIPANTS (great way to kill 5 hours)

thats all for now

So true but topps killed the prices being so stupid to announce the next release so soon which will prob be delayed till next year anyway. i wont be racing out to pay $200 a box next release when u find out that ur relics are selling for $5ea and most autos under $20. I will wait a month or 2 as the money i spent when these first come out i could have had the whole set now

i agree with "big", buy to enjoy. i dropped a ton on the rnd 2's,and they aren't worth squat. my complete base set's hardly seem worth the trouble now that i look back at it. to top it off, i didn't get any jaw dropping pulls, for as much money as i spent.

Unless you have the money to buy a case is all chance whether its a hobby or retail box. but as mentioned one important lesson is Buy for fun if your in this to make a profit u would have gone backward bigtime be it on boxes or a case. a guy in Aus here bought a case boxes cost him round $180 a box now he is stuck with most of them unless he wants to loose half his money
