This might have been done before but I am not sure? Who owns a GSP Round 1 Red Auto? If you have one you might consider getting it graded since many people feel they can be faked. If we can get a handle of how many real ones are out there we will be able to know if future ones that pop up for sale are fakes. I will add to the list once people say they have one (we might want to keep a permanent list and update it if any are sold or traded) Round one GSP Red Auto's owned by buymmacards members 1. telis22 2. It was crashingwaves you sold it too....lol ....wavescrashing is another memeber on here (dude is from hawaii I believe)....and I doubt he is as fanataic a GSP fan as me (I am canadian...what can I say)

By the way hat was a joke about Matthew's cards being fakes That is a good question and I am not sure but I would think if you examined the card you would be able to figure it out ( unless it was a very good fake ) the authenticators look at many things in the autograph like pen stroke and pressure ect.. took it with my phone. i dont own a scanner. sorry guys. the pictures are blurry, but the cards are not not fake. I was thinking about doing a PSA on my rd1 reds of GSP and Silva, but it is hard to bring myself to do it when i know it is coming back with a 7 or 7.5?? |

Just get the Auto authenticated if you think you will be disappointed with the Grade of the card. If you talk to the grading Co. you might even get them to only do the Auto Authentication if your card grades under a certain # that you can decide ahead of time? Then if it grades high have it graded and if not just authenticated. You would have to check with them to see if this would be possible. Matt you also need to realize that there are only 25 real GSP Round 1 Red Auto's. I foresee most of these cards getting graded at some point with there high value.
