hi, just wondering if any one can suggest some good sale prices. i just won a carwin auto for £18 on ebay. if the guy honours it and sends it me what would be a good sell on price. i also just had a dan hardy bloodline and bisping base card signed by the actuall fighters in silver on there own card. at a signing event at gamestation. any idea on a good selling price for these cards also?

I'm not a fan of someone who gets and MMA fighter's autograph just to turn around and sell it. Sure, get rid of the Carwin if you want, but keep the in-person signed Bisping and Hardy.

This is why fighters are starting to become wary of signing things for people.

I agree, that's why a lot of professional athletes charge for their autograph.  If you only acquire it to make money on a flip, then you shouldn't call yourself a collector.

FYI , most people won't buy an auto unless it is certified!

Hey guys.. way to roll out the welcome wagon to a new guy!!

First-- welcome to the site punisherpop. I have only been here for less than two months myself, but I have made some good friends and met some great trading partners in that short time.  I am sure that you will add to the site and I look forward to trading with you in the future.  As for the responses you got, you have to expect that as you are on a site dedicated to people who are crazy fanatics about MMA and more importantly, they each have their favorite fighters and their own personal collections that they wouldnt sell for anything.

The way I see it, you are providing a service as I will tell you right now, I would not wait on line at an event to get a fighters auto.  The only way I will get an auto is in a pack or from someone selling one.  So, you waiting on a line and spending hours of your time to get that auto is worth something.  I have purchased non-certified football autos before with photos of the signing as proof of authenticity.  I would say, however, that you would probably have to build up some 'feedback' on the forum through trades and sales before anyone on here will buy an uncertified auto from you.

There are a lot of TTM autos on ebay and that would be where I would look for pricing.  You will also have to describe what you have if you really want a price estimate on it.  For example, is it a Rd1 card, or a Main Event card? Maybe even post a picture of your autos.  As far as Carwin goes, i would pay decent money for his auto on a syringe...(pardon my bad steroid joke)..

Welcome to the site and good luck selling your items.

Ya. If you send Carwin a card to sign in the mail, he will personalize it. It is posted on his website. More fighters are starting to personalize the cards that they sign because more and more collectors just want to turn around and sell the card.
