Last night I was able to purchase 4 at once. Shipping also came up as $0.
I've had some pretty good hits from boxes I bought from the UFC Store. I bought a couple boxes last week before they went on sale. Paid $125 each w/no shipping fees.
From the 2 boxes, I pulled a Ruby Bloodlines Lesnar 1/8. Also TUF Henderson, Arianny, Machida Dollaway and Hardy Autos. Plus all of my relics were #'d. 2 onyx mats, 1 gold mat, and Gamburyan gear.
Back in the day, I bought a couple Round 1 boxes from the UFC Store and got a Red Couture auto and a Dual mat Auto of Edgar and Griffin(aka Machida and Sanchez dual).
Obviously this isn't the norm, but it's nice to know that someone isn't pulling the big dogs out of the cases and selling the rest.

Yeah I've got some decent boxes from ufc.com. I ordered 2 about a week ago and pulled: Autos: Red - D Miller /25 Blue - Big Nog, Ciesnolevicz, Alves, Wessel TUF Relics: UG - Herring Mat - A Silva /88, Hughes /199, Franklin (3 color) Not too bad considering I'll probably make my money back if I sell everything, which usually doesn't happen to me haha... ------------- Selling BJ Penn collection! Did they give a reason? Hope this isn't the first wave of cancellations. Have you bought hobby boxes from there before? The only things I can think of is that they did not have a quantity set up or they limit 2 per household/product. Not sure. ------------- |

you have to pay the taxes on anything over 20$(cdn) plus a 5$ fee for the right to pay them the taxes.....

yes, i know, thanks. what i was wondering is how much you paid in total for shipping. i'm waiting for money in my paypal account so i can get a box or two, but i can only go so far in the checkout and the total shipping shows 0$. so did you only have to pay 20$ at the door, or was there more shipping that you paid at the ufc store as well?

Im waiting on my funds to be available in my Paypal also so I can buy my 2 boxes or hopefully 4. I have $1200+ from my auctions ending but, Ive been a member less that 2 months so they still make it so I have to get feedback from buyers to have sale proceeds available to me. It totally sucks cus I have just under 300 feedbacks including dups and I have 100% feedback and a 213 number of non dups...
The shipping on UFC.com is free for the two Round 2 boxes you're limited to buy on there.. You will just have to pay taxes on your boxes at the door for customs when you get delivery for your boxes you bought, which is what that $20.00 is from. This is only when shipping from US to Canada. If you live in US theres no shipping chrages on ufc nor at the door its just a Canadian tax thing. So you wont pay shipping on ufc.com just customs fees.
Thats why when I ship to Canada I always ship items as a gift worth only $20.00 this way Canada buyers never have to pay high taxes on their cards. Some people dont know this until they get a seller that sends a card and lists it as several hundred dollars as good/other. You have to fill out a customs form when shipping from the Post Office. They have numbers starting with LC0733----US

Be lucky it didnt come via UPS, they charged me a $50 customs handling fee for a $30 item.

WOW, thats a lot... Maybe going to Canada some places it cost on ufc.com or it could be the type of delivery ie; express, etc. I tried to go through the sale on ufc.com and it was free for just regular shipping. I heard it from others as well. Maybe it changes when you complete checkout. I was going to buy 2 boxes but, I bought too much crap on Ebay and used my available money. I have to wait a few more days for more to release in Paypal and maybe when I complete checkout it will charge me shipping or give me other shipping time options. I have 2 a few questions in relation to the ufc.com Round 2 cards:
1. How can you get the 10% off to work?
 I signed up and got my confirmation number and entered it and it wouldn't take. So what I did was shut my computer all the way down, restarted and went back online to ufc.com and did the whole process over again with my same # they give you to enter to get the 10% off and it didnt work still...  2. Does it go by the date you signed up as a member or something?
3. How much longer is the sale going on for?

Man I hate being such an impulsive buyer, but there's a part of me that kept insisting that $99 box was good value (considering they go for ~$150+ in Australia). So I signed up to the UFC Fight Club (Further 10% off) and should be receiving 2 boxes and a UFC FC shirt in the next week or two for a grand total of AU$260 ($41 shipping!!!). Can't wait to post by box breaks :) |

Hey ras, I know how fun it is to bust packs, but IMO ur best bet is to buy the set online for cheap and the autos or relics you want of previous release and buy the RND 4 to bust the wax. Easier on ur pocket book. Unless you have got money to spend on the old products. Again, this is my opinion and to each his or her own! We are just happy there are others like us out there who loves the UFC! Nice to have you aboard. |
