SO HOW MANY DIFFERENT DUAL'Z WERE ACTUALLY MADE IN RD 1 !!!!!!!!!!!

The product checklist said 4
herman/macdonald
edgar/griffin
Nog/Herring
Silva/Leben
The only one that actually got in the packs was Silva/Leben, the rest were redemption's replaced by the Machida/Diego

The only thing that does not add up for me is that there were only 75 redemption's, yet the Machida/Diego was numbered to /100.

Very disappointing if you owned the Nog/Herring.  Perhaps the extra 25 should go to the owners of that card.

yes there were only 2 duals from rd 1(The duals they were going to make would have been the best in the series), I love the Silva/Leben dual, that is the way duals should be done, both autos and a mat from that fight, not like rd 2's.

rolinger, if you dont mind me asking what did you spend on the dual, I have only seen one on ebay for $950.00, but I think it only "books" for $450.00, so hopefully some day I can grab one for that price.

Can someone please tell me why so many people go by these book prices? I assume you are talking about Beckett. Rollies Dual auto is 1 of 25 and the only Dual (unless you want to count the Machida /100) from Round 1. How can Beckett assign a price like $450 for this card? It is so limited. Who is their expert making up the numbers?
Please give me some input.

i dont understand where the book prices come from anyway - as far as i remember beckett doesnt price cards that are print run under 50 copies (i havent been a subscriber to beckett for a while but as far as i can recall they didnt price such a low pritn run card)

Think they followed a lot of the ebay price trends to get an average price for the guide. They didnt list any of the short print cards until at least 6 or 7 months after the stuff hit the market for rd 1 & 2. Their prices for the most part on the higher end stuff reflect what cards have gone for on ebay.

Judging by the 450$ tag for the leben silva dual, early on in rd 1, the one or two i saw on ebay went for around there im pretty sure. Havent seen any up in a long time though.

I bought my Silva/Leben for $700 and would do it again if I get a chance.   I lost the one that was listed after mine, it went higher than $700.

The first couple weeks may have been in the $400 range, but I've been on the lookout ever since I got my first.   It's one of my favorites.   I would have loved to have the Nog/Herring   That one chaps my ass, but you already know the feeling.

prices on these things change way to much too fast for anythin publication to give an acurate price - i mean even if a card sells for 700 then 450 - guess what - theres only 25, so u gotta get it while u got the chance

similar with the jumbo relics - maybe one person pays $400 for a forrest while anther gets it for $220 but you know theres only 10 so if u want it u need to be willing to shell the $$ out for it otherwise youll be left wanting it just to wait and pray u get it for less (if u get another chance)
