It's starting to puzzle me as to why a ryan bader gear card is going for the same or sometimes more than a randy gear or franklin gear( i know the guy is 11-0 but he's not at the top level yet). A couple other cards that seem to be going for or went too high, IMO are machida VD gold, anderson silva round 2 mat relic(havn't seen a normal one under 50 for buy it now on ebay in a while) and a big one i think might be is the lesnar cards and kimbo cards(they are popular fighters, but i would like to see lesnar win a few more fights and behave better before investing that kind of $$$$$$, same with kimbo.
what prices have you bamboozled?

Well, for one, Bader is considered a prospect so people are trying to get him cheap (relatively) in case he does blow up in to a legot contender. People do the same with 18-19 y/o baseball prospects. Not a big surprise. Really teh card that surprises me the most in Wanderlei's auto. People forget but he was a monster in Pride and I think I picked up teh first one that ended on EBay for $90. Then a few ended for $102 and $110, and now they can be had for $35 - $50. I am just shocked.

Agree with the prospects comment... so many new people to MMA and the collecting that they miss or pass on legend type of guys... it's the newer and now guys that garner the attention. I have watched the mat relics drop like a stone, and like always I paid too much :)
