While not a GSP bloodlines... I received a fake 2009 Gracie bloodlines auto a year or two ago... should be a thread about it on here as well.
The obvious thing for me was that the sticker had vertical crease lines that you could see in a certain light as a result of being peeled of and reapplied. Was this GSP card from the recent 2009 Bloodlines auto lot that went for supper cheap on ebay recently? Well I guess I could be wrong but we will need AL to know for sure. WHERE ARE YOU ALLAN? The card I got appears to be a real Gina Carrano Promo card(thin stock) but The auto looks to be a white print of her Cut auto sig that is stuck on top the card to make it look like a Ring King cut auto. The promo card is a thin card and the cut auto's are much thicker. Gina did sign some Promo cards but as far as I know they were all on card and no white sticker auto's. Also the back of the card says nothing about it being an autograph card. Once again I could be wrong? but I don't think so. When I went to message the seller E-bay automatically opened up a case. E-bay is changing a lot lately? I better get my $ back. I kinda knew it was a fake when I bought it but wanted to see the card in person. | well im 99.99% sure fakes, only because if it is a reprint of caranos REAL auto there has to be 1 real auto out there. mines a sticker also, thin stock, it came from ebay w a 8x10 photo in a mat. seller said they were from a promo at some office were she signed them all at. i contacted RK AL he said there were a few more of her fake cut autos out there. |

Fakes , and yes all elite said is correct . These were fighter issued promo cards to do what they may with . Bas and Gina were foil cards as far as i have seen to date . All other promo cards including the /25 promo's were a plain dull cardboard finish . yes, its almost as if a topps rep or the company who makes the sheets for them had one disapear lol,the auto is not on the sticker, its a direct scan to card then a fresh sticker over top, with out a high power light its very difficult to notice, i have 2 bloodlines autos that i pulled from way back in the day not gsp, and the cards are dam near perfect to this fake other then the bloodlines words them self on the front and back, ------------- ml |
