Why is Rd2 retail almost the same price as the hobby boxes? I have seen the retail boxes selling at $92 a box when hobby is usually $100 to 110.

Isn't the #88 base exclusive to retail? If so that might have something to do with it.

Thats what they said with series 4 and the first case i bought I got eight /88 base cards hahaha. I wouldnt think that is the only reason I mean it sure wouldnt make me buy them when I can pay an extra 10 to 15 for a hobby box.

lol! at you luck with s4.

I would pay the extra $15 for 3 more hits, but they would probably a CB auto and X2 Sherk mat's....

btw, if you have a #88 s4 Wand, I WANT IT!!!!!

A Rd2 retail box just sold on ebay for $55. I think the price you saw is just someone trying to pull a fast one on first time buyers, hoping they don't know the difference between hobby and retail. When I first got into collecting I remember buying retail off amazon and thinking I got a great deal. Then I came here and figured out what hobby was, haha...

Also, I know Rd4 wasn't but Rd2 was pretty good about keeping the base /88 in retail only. I have opened at least 2 1/2 cases of Rd2 hobby and only pulled one bronze.

Lots of 1/1's, rubies, red autos, triple threads, dual autos, etc.
