| I came across the blank back proof cards on Ebay and don't know much about them.What is their significance? Was their only a limited number made? Anybody know anything about these cards? |

| i also wonder about these, they have to have more than one but idk how many they make, the numbers on the back are fairly large so idk if that means anything. i might buy one of my fav fighter just to have, but idk if they are worth anything, they dont seem to gererate alot of interest. |

i've worked for a printing company that printed road maps. we printed proofs of each map to check for quality( clean lines,color codes,etc). imo the proof cards are just printing press run off,aka garbage. when printing multiple cards with the same border pattern, the press never stops. all they do is change pictures and foil stamp on the fly. this creates run off(unuseable product).it seems to me that someone got a hold of some uncut sheets and is trying to pass the cards off as unique. though the cards are real , they are just unfinished prints.
i hope i've been able to answer some questions for you guys.

| just a fyi: the round 2 nate diaz card is an example of run off. it's missing the red ink in the border, compared to the rest of the set. |

mmazzbillisky is right about the PRINTING part of his statement, however these are legitimate as they come from the Topps Vault. I don't see many people with 27,000,000 feedback. You could snag one of these and get your fighter to sign in the space at the UFC Fan Expo?! |

aye - i remember when beckett had posted the lesnar cover printing plates (the ones like quadracer bought) and i was interested in but lost out on - then i saw them post like 4 more sets over the following months

| I don't know 100% for sure but I used to collect vintage Star Wars proofs. Basically they print off one and then check for errors or changes. I doubt there are thousands but I'm sure they are not 1/1. |

On an unrelated Topps vault subject:
They are selling original artwork used on Topps Chickle Football cards. They give you the original art they used in the card, as well as one of the cards. Some of the art is really nice, and many are going for less than a hundo. I had one bid up to $55 but went for $90. You may want to take a look.

Im the Nog Bidder upper winner. Wasnt going to let a 1 of 1 Nog pass me by. It'll be a nice addition to my Nog collection. Probably going to get it graded if its nice enough looking.
Got Gono too. Have his base diamond already, so figured why not.

| does anyone know how many proof cards where printed? with the ridiculious prices ppl are paying, i would guess not many exist. imo a true proof card would be a complete/finished product,foil stamp and all. the main thing to look at,is if the card was the first COMPLETE card off the press, that way the card can be inspected for flaws. |

if topps prints ufc cards like they there baesball cards, there should be more than one out there. back in the day i bought uncut sheets of baseball cards from topps. an uncut sheet consisted about 25 cards,if i remember right.(5 cards wide x 5 cards tall)

they are selling the UNCUT MINI sheets now and they are the etopps cards , in combination with baseball . 1 has obama on it and its starting to climb . couture , gsp , bj penn , silva , hendo and big bad LESNAR. would be great to frame maybe . SORRY : AUCTION ALREADY ENDED EARLIER TODAY . |
