Anyone have a sense of how much of the R2 retail has been broken already? I feel like the /88 base cards don't show up that often on eBay, was there a lot more when R2 released? Retail prices are so high I keep thinking there are a ton of retail boxes sitting unbroken because not a lot of people want to pay $80-100 for a retail box. I'm just curious to see what people think who have followed R2 since it's release... -------------

Wait ten or so years and maybe they'll be sitting on shelves in dollar stores. Probably is a decent amount left unopened. To pay 80-90$ a box for it is insane. Should be like 30$ a box. ------------- Nobody hears |

Ya I would pay 60 for a box of retail. That maybe where the Jones 1/1 is sitting. ------------- I want anything 1/1 of Machida will trade or pay cash!! |

What's funny is that the retail boxes have one auto or mem card. In other words you could be lucky enough to score a Miller one color mat card or better yet a CB Dolloway auto. And for only $80 a box, I mean the choice is simple....buy as many at that price as possible!!!!! I contacted Blowout last week and bought the remaining 7 R2 retail boxes they had, I was able to talk them down a little.
With Jon Jones with Bronze going for $200, Golds for $30 and Base for $10 lets see how hard I get porked.
