prices have dropped on Round 2.
Machida Autos for less than $100
Royce Auto for $75
Lesnar Auto for $150
Cases for under $1080
Boxes for $80
Geez, no wonder you guys are pissed about uncaged.

It is a double edged sword. Yes, I can complete my sets cheaper. At the same time the cards i have are losing value. Just remember, cards fluctuate all the time. Its the holiday season so not as much disposable income. Also talked to my local dealer that i get my cases from and he has gotten no info from Topps on ordering these. I told him I heard a late Febuary realease and he said his guess is that that means late May, early June. He has been in the buisness for over 20 years so i hope he is right

same thing happened with the ring kings - the prices soared when they hit for the first few months while ppl were grabbing them - now the cuts mellowed out - the cut couture ring king used to sell 200+ now u can prob grab one for around $100-$150 (might also be b/c now there are multiple companies with autos out there too)

i hope the box prices get more inline with what value you get out of a box... $75 I can live with..$150 not worth it now

Now is the time to buy these cards, prices will go back up especially if uncaged is a poor release people will fall back to round 1/2 big time to bolster their UFC collection.
Overall, I beleive one series a year is plenty as it gives collectors time to complete their sets and trade with others etc. Does anyone know if Liddell is going to have a auto in Round 3? If not I do not see Round 3 hurting Round 1 or Round 2. People will come back to Round 1 as it was the first, and they will come back to Round 2 because of Lesnars Rookie auto. As always just my .002 |
