OK we all know that a Round 2 Jon Jones Rookie Ruby base card has been listed for $12000 for a while.... and although I would really like to own that card I don't even bother making offers or asking questions when I feel like a seller has a price WELL above what I think is reasonable.  (I know the seller is a member here, and I hope the listing gets him a lot of money, but for me that amount is well beyond what I would do)

I was checking Ebay today to see what gems may be listed and all of a sudden ANOTHER JON JONES ROOKIE RUBY BASE CARD POPS UP.... Actually within a minute of me finding it...

Well it was listed at $1000.... I thought about it.... thought about it, and made an offer.... then I thought about it....

and I decided that if I left that card for an hour, SOMEBODY, Most likely a memeber here.... would hit BIN and the card would be gone...

SO I did it... I hit BIN and will be the new owner of the Ruby Jones Rookie Base....

MY QUESTION TO YOU:  How many of you honestly would have hit BIN if you saw it just like I did?  I REALLY Debated.... but not for long. Let me know!

THANKS

Nice price in my opinion - I would have paid that all day if i would have noticed it :)
I usually go with gut on those types of tempting BIN prices
I will give you 1050 for it - LOL :)

NOW I AM TICKED OFF!!!

I paid for the card and then I got a message basically saying that the listing was a mistake, and it was to be listed at $10,000 OBO not $1,000 OBO.... and they will not be sending me the card...

Ohhhhh I am not happy right now!!!

Not sure how much they really think they will get for it.... but I am really frustrated!

Pretty crappy thing to do for sure, I mean I can see giving the guy some slack if it was listed at like 100 and he meant a 1000, or 10 and he meant a 1000, something like that but come on.

1000 was a good price - I would guess top price on that to be around 1500 - but hell i have never seen one sell so hard to gauge

After all, A red ink RD 2 RC only goes 1500 - and i would MUCH rather have a red ink RC -
Just my 3 cents :)

Maybe it is just me but $1000 for a BASE Ruby /8 of my favorite fighter is something I would never even consider.  At least the rare auto's have ... wait for it ... wait for it .. an AUTO.

The question I would ask myself is one Base Ruby /8 or 10 of his rookie autos ... rookie autos all day for me.

Auto is a must for me as well :)  Especially for that kind of cash!

Still would not mind having the card though

i would have paid double that in a heartbeat. And if anyone has a red auto from rd2 for 1500... let me know I will buy all 25 at that price.

Sucks that you cant get it now. I emailed the seller to see what the 'new' price was going to be and they told me it was already sold.. so somebody probably emailed the seller AFTER you bought it and offered more.
