OK Fellas,

Just thought I would ask.

I pulled the trigger on a round 1 box for $750.  Do I think that was smart?  HECK NO!!!  BUT  I really wanted another one.

So here is the question:

Should I break it?
Should I keep it long term?
Should I do something else with it?  Maybe some odd shared break, or even a pack break or something different...

What do you guys think?  The box will be here on June 6th.  Honestly undecided as to what I would do.

Good luck holding it long term.   I thought I was strong when I had 5 left and I opened them all in a moment of weakness.   Thankfully the Hendo Red Foil made up for the other 4 horrible boxes.
You only have about a 3% chance to hit some kind of 1/1, so the odds are not in your favor, but gambling rarely is.

There is the potential to lose $600 on a bad box.

If you are having buyers remorse, then splitting it to recoop the cost is the safest bet to get your money back, otherwise it comes down to pulling the $750 slot machine handle.

IDK, pretty crazy to do a group break on a box.  And you would never forgive yourself if the other guy pulled a 1/1

Just open the damn thing and good luck!

It would be tough not to open it, but chances are you have a CB Dollaway and an expired Redemption in there.

Stick it in a safety deposit box at your bank and let it sit there for 20 years.

Agreed.  If I had one I would need it locked up away from me.

But out of all the option this is %100 the way to go.
They will never go down in value.

How much if you had the first box of Baseball / Hockey or closer boxing ever made worth today?

If I had the funds to spare today I would have a few of these put away.

It's about $50 per pack.  I would open it.  Not a big deal if you consider the price of other sports card pack/box today.  There are so many $100 - $500 packs out there & no one said a thing.  Money making potential, not so much.  Biggest thrill/disappointment, absolutely.  Let us know the result if it ever gets opened.
