What do you guys think of this auto. It is the first one I have ever seen like this. Most of the signature stickers I have seen have bj's name above his nickname centered on the sticker. Even the letters seem almost too neat to be bj's

Is this one of the few he signed like this.

The handwriting looks really similar to the picture of the one up for raffle. I haven't seen too many though so I can't tell you if the arrangement of his auto is different.

I was wondering the same thing.  The auto does look a little different than most Penn red inks that I have seen.  I messaged the seller and he told me that he has two of them.

I keep thinking to myself....how easy it would be to remove a blue auto and forge it in red.  The profit would be pretty substantial..especially if its a top fighter..GSP,Penn, A.silva

I would be concerned as well.  Obviously we know all the Penn Red Autos were redemptions..... So the condition should be better then most other Round 1 Autos..... but the pic looks chipped on the top pretty good.

I am no expert but it seems legit to me.
But it is really hard to tell from just a picture.

It looks like his handwriting, but I've never seen his round 1 red auto prior to this so I dont know. Offtopic, but lol.. Funny seeing him with hair.

Hmmmm?  I went back to the old cardboard box with my Round 1 collection and looked at mine.  It's looks legit, but it would help if he had a better quality picture.  It was a redemption but the quality is the same as with all Round 1 autos.  There is chipping on the edges.  The only Round 1 redemption auto with the better quality control was the Rich Franklin autograph which was a replacement for Roger Huerta.  Here is a scan of my BJ Penn Red Ink from 2009.

Yeah the Franklins seem like they were made from a different card stock, a little better then the original run. Id imagine the Penn cards were made with all the others, they just didnt have the stickers in time to add it to the product.  Dont think Franklin was planned to be part of the orig run.

and i agree the penn on ebay looks legit.

judging from Denny's scan, the signatures are pretty different and the thickness of the marker seems to be different...or it could have dulled a bit after signing a couple stickers (doubt it)
