Topic: Rd 1 GSP red auto on BMMACPosted: 06 Apr 2011 at 12:48pm |

Good day BMMAC folk,
This morning, a new member listed a rd 1 GSP red auto in the products for sale section of the BMMAC website. The sellers name is 'johnrobertfletcher'.....he is new to the site and has not posted yet.
I am a bit concerned as he listed the card for only $500....which is a steal and the pictures he provides show that the card appears in good shape. However, since he is new, with no feedback, I am a bit concerned about doing a transaction with him as he is unknown.
Anyone know this seller or can provide feedback? Any suggestions on how to do a transaction where both parties are protected from fraud etc?
Thx

He signed up last week and asked if it was ok if he accepted Money orders or personal checks since he didn't have a paypal. I said NO. He then listed about 12 items without letting me know that he set up a Paypal, so instead of having peoples payments go to an unclaimed paypal, I deleted his items, then the next morning woke up to hear how big of a jerk I was and that he would tell people how bad I run the site.
At this point, I just wanted to kick his ass, but looks like he's back to listing. I don't like this guy so far and will advise people not to buy from him until he sets up his feedback with a link to a ebay account with 100% feedback with multiple transactions. |

sounds shady, i think if he had a valid activeebay account he should know he could got alot more for it on there. selling here could help him avoid alot of ebay buyer claim hassle.

Thanks for the feedback...much appreciated
I agree, things seem fishy.....those are some sweet cards he is selling...almost too sweet for him to have flown under the radar in this small mma card world.
Anyone know where he is from....Canada or US etc?
I did put an offer on a card...as the price was beyond believable...though I will not complete the transaction with out some sort of puchase security in place.

I would not buy from anyone who is new with no feedback. Amazing deal from a newbie usually means bad things for a buyer. Tell him to list it on ebay to protect yourself. Odds are he won't.

If he was even semi legit, I would have thought he would have posted in here by now.

He said Southpark from youtube directed him to the site.
I won't let him list until he establishes some good deals. I told him to get on the forum, set up his feedback, log all the trades, and get established, because I don't trust new guys without track records. So if you deal with him, do it in a secure way. PAYPAL ONLY, and log it in the forum. Make sure tracking is included in your deal. I'm willing to let someone get established, but I'd proceed with extreme caution. Damn Rolinger...you kick ass.
Thanks for setting up a great place for MMA card trading. Your efforts at moderating this site are much appreciated!
Will let you know how the deal goes (if one actually takes place)....FYI - it was for a rd 1 GSP red auto....for $400!
