I also think that the Gold cards are limited to roughly the same number as the cases or a little more.

I came up with the same.   That is a lot less hobby than I thought.   At first I was thinking around 2500 cases, but I agree with more like 1250.   It helped having the bronze in the retail to figure it out.  The only thing that keeps me from being confident are the words "subject to change"
Kinda like the release date.

Anyone know the print run for these boxes? I've done some preliminary calculations and estimated them to be ~14,800 boxes for Hobby, and 7750 for Retail. I got these numbers by looking the exclusive card type for each set. Hobby has the #/25 dual mat cards and #/25 auto ultimate gear cards, and the Retail has the #/88 base parallel Bronze cards. The basic formula I came up was: Pack odds(inversed) / Packs per box * (number produced * cards in series) So for a fairly rare card like the Dual mats which are 25 produced, 4 cards in the series, with pack odds of 1:1900 packs, the calculations would be 1900/16*(25*5) = 14,843 boxes or 1,237 cases I've done the same calculations with the Ultimate gear autos and came up with a similar number of 14,765 boxes. I'm not a math guy, so let me know if any of you can confirm or refute my findings. Thanks
