Topic: Round 1 Forrest Griffin ON CARD AUTO'S on eBay...Posted: 29 Nov 2010 at 12:48am |

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place to do this, if not, I'm sorry!
But I have a couple of Round 1 Forrest Griffin Mat Relics that are signed ON CARD up on eBay, they go off in 16 hours... Back story: I did NOT obtain these auto's in person! I bought them for a nice price off of Frank Bishop from MMA.tv. He is a long time friend of Forrest's and is legit as they come, feel free to research him. He is from Athens, GA and Forrest signs stuff for him from time to time so he can make some extra money. Once again, I did NOT obtain these auto's in person, but I am in FULL belief that they are 100% legit or I would have never bought them and definitely would never sell them. Research him and the cards if you have any worries or concerns. Goto the MMAemorabiliaground on the MMA.tv forums under community forums for the original thread where he sells them for more information. Good luck! First card is a Round 1 Gear 255/500: Second card is a Round 1 Mat Relic Forrest/Shogun: |

I saw these originally when frank sold them on ebay...something about having them signed when they went out for sushi. I also saw that Frank once auctioned off a 15 minute phone call from Forrest. I thought that might have been cool.

He sold these on eBay? I wonder what happened there...? I bought these directly from him so either he had several Round 1 relics signed or the buyer didn't pay? Either way, Frank's a pretty cool dude. I remember when he auctioned off the phone call too, Forrest actually spent over an hour talking to the winner, very cool of him.

Well..I guess I didn't see him actually sell them. I saw them posted on ebay and assumed they sold on ebay. My slip up there. And to hear Forrest actually talked to the winner for that long...that just goes to show you how badass some of these fighters really are!!

Yeah, he probably tried to sell them and didn't get what he wanted. And definitely, for every notoriously ''dick'' fighter (Hughes) there are 5 notoriously nice fighters (Wandy, Guida, Forrest, Jones, Lawlor)

I picked up a Rd 1 signed Mat and Gear of Forrest about 5 months ago from the guy you guys are talking about. They actually look exactly like the ones you are selling, so he definitely got at least 2 of each signed...

Max, how much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking? Like I said, I believe him to be 110% legitimate, but you just never know so I felt obligated to express that. By the way, I paid $40 flat for the 2 Forrest signed cards, plus unsigned Round 1 mats of Bisping and Stevenson.
