whats everyone's opinion on the great of the game cards in round 2 - i haven't bought the lesnar version yet b/c IMO its not a brock lesnar card its only a card of his video game char ?

was just wondering if anyone else looked at it that way or if im on my own in just not thinking the GOTG cards count as the fighters card

GOTG is probably the lamest insert in the set. Bloodlines is the best in the set, imo

Not a huge fan. Trying to complete the /88 set just because and any of the bigger /8 ones if the time/price is right.  Seems like shamelessly plugging one product ( the video game) inside another product.

I was just going to say....Love the game, stupid cards.
I like the art, but can't really believe it's the fighters card.

Ya, i love the game too. I consider GOTG to be like promo cards for the game.

But i do like the idea of stats in the back of the card, but the stats in GOTG are subjective in-game stats that have no bearing on the sport.

It would be cool to have actual fightfinder type stats such as individual wins/losses and win method. Maybe strengths and weaknesses too (like what they show during fighter entrances)

IMO it was a easy way for them to make an additional insert set. Really, all they did was design a cheesy background and plpop the already done image from THQ right on the card. Then they just took the stats and pasted them onto the backs.

Laziness !!!!
