I sent my first lot of cards to Beckett to be graded, and got the results in an e-mail today.  I will share some pics when I actually get the cards back.

Quinton Jackson blue autograph - 7.5
Rashad Evans Gold Victorious Debut- 9.5

The Rampage auto is fairly representative of the poor quality of R1 autos.  I have seen some that were better and many that were worse.  I was hoping for a better grade, but feared a lower as well.

Share your R1 graded cards here!!

Update:    Here's some pictures of the Quinton Jackson auto's condition.  These are the best I could come up with.

Side note.  They switched the labels on my R1 Evans Gold VD and a ME Machida auto relic.  So, I have to send them back to get fixed.  Nice work for my first experience, Beckett!!  You must work with Topps!  Haha.

oh nice on the gold VD.  Curious to see how bad your Rampage auto was and what they consider a 7.5
Looking for Alves & Miguel Torres stuff. Paying top dollar! PM me

I was wondering how the round 1 autos on an average would grade. Going to send mine in to Beckett in the next couple of months but I'm interested in seeing pics of your graded cards.

that big factor that will knock those rnd 1 autos down is the border flakes and chipping - those are grade killers

This wont hurt the value of the Round 1 autos will it? Since all of them are like this?

1.  The biggest reason I started this thread (or even sent the Rampage in the first place) was because I was interested in how harshly these cards would be graded.  I was sure that others would be too.  Like I said, I feel that the condition of this card was pretty average for R1 autos.  When I got it, I was pleased that it wasn't as bad as so many that I had seen.  I will try to add as detailed of pictures as possible.

2.  The low grades should not hurt the value, as a 7.5 may turn out to be the highest graded R1 Rampage auto.  In that case, the value of the card would go up.

P.s.  The subgrades on the Rampage auto are:
Centering: 9.5
Corners: 7.5
Edges: 7.5
Surfaces: 9
Overall: 7.5

Yeah a 7.5 might end up being a really good grade for most of the Round 1 auto's. I don't think you will see many that are going to be much higher but the ones that are will bring a premium.

Yes, totally.  I'm sure there will end up being 8 and 8.5's eventually.  When they do come around, they will demand a pretty penny.

It doesn't matter yet, but eventually the population report will start factoring in to a card's value like it does in other sports.

Yea but the auto is graded at an 8. I see the auto goes off the sticker. That hurts the value as well. I say if you are going to get it graded at least make sure it has a nice auto.
