Since these cards are seemingly so rare, who on here has damaged cards and needed to chuck them?

I'll step up first with...

1. GSP base card.  Dropped it and tried to catch it between my legs whilst sat down.  Bent in half and recycled.

I have a whole box full that either came from Topps or were sent by sellers and it wasn't worth my time to ship them back or the post office jacked them.Angry

I am sure there is
I posted a Lyoto Machida Gear /8 that has large pressure creases around the relic on E-bay just to see if I would get any takers.
I was about to list a card today(Maynard Round 2 Gold Mat) and when I took a good look at it you could see where the seller wrote the listing # on a post it note attached to the toploader. Now when you tilt the card in the light you can see the auction # indented across the card. I just listed it as a freebee with another card I listed.

Gottal love when half of your base cards from a $500 Round 1 box look like this

The last 3-4 cards of every pack were jacked up like this.   Including GSP, Brock, Leah, Edgar, Liddell...pretty much all the good base cards.
