Confused - Okay, this seller who has only 19 feedbacks and yellow star is selling a GSP Round 1 Card Error for $5,000 yes, $5k. 1st of all why would any error card be worth $5,000 and 2nd would you look at prior listings or similar cards or maybe even the highest sold card of Round 1 or GSP to get your value? Wouldnt you think a card with an actual signature would be worth more than one without it? I guess not in this persons case!

Shocked - Now I know I just read a post about these Round 1 Error cards by Dr. Palasteines or someone very similar to that (Spell Check Please). He had like 10-15 of those cards I thought and could be worth $10-$20.00 MAYBE. This persons wants $5,000 "Buy it Now" or "Best Offer". This person needs a reality check and I thought it was funny when I saw it. Here it is:

CRAZY! LOL

yeah, seeing that you can buy one with a sig for $1000 and remove the sticker, I can't see how this would be worth more than an auto'd one. He had this up for 4K many times. If someone buys this card for anywhere near that money tell the buyer I have some ocean front property in Vermont for sale cheap

5k for a GSP auto without the GSP auto... i laughed when i first seen this the other day.  The value on the card is the auto, cant see it being worth much more.  Personally, i would take and write a letter to topps and tell them your GSP Red auto never got signed.....blah blah blah and they usually make up for it in a big way.  The card companies have good customer service

No way anyone even bids half of the asking price. Its too bad the seller is to dumb or greedy to call topps CS and complain.

Al, you said 5 bills! I'm talking and this person is talking 50 Bills!! A little bit different that 5 Bills... Maybe someone would be stupid and slap 5 bills down on a non-auto but, 50 bills...

I offered $2.00 last night on it LOL... he/she countered my $2.00 for: $4,998.00 NO JOKING!!! LMAO

Good luck to this person but, I think if he/she got $100 they'd be doing good on it! They obviously have no clue what they are doing because they have only 19 feedbacks total... They'll learn the value of cards soon hopefully...

I cut & pasted their auction reply to my offer to show how serious they were, Shocked:

There used to be two of these for sale at the same time.   One guy had his for $517 or something like that, and the other guy had $4002 and kept saying "if GSP beats Alves, I'll push the money or something to that extent.      The one for $517 sat there forever and never sold.   The $4002 one just got laughed at like this one.

I think GSP has A D D when it comes to having to sign so many Autos for Topps and just skipped a whole row or something.   Either that, or the guy removed the auto and is trying to sell it as if it's a Red.

It'll never sell.   One to many decimal places.

There is such a thing as a 1,000 dollar bill. There are about 150,000 of them and I wish I had a bunch of them for Round 4
