Just picked one up for $475 and thought it was a huge steal.
Think it was listed for about 25 minutes before I bought it so someone might have seen it before I did. But I noticed something strange about it. The decription doesn't have info on its serial number and there was only a picture of the front side of it. So I compared the picture he posted with all the pictures of Jones red /25 autos I have gathered from ebay and there was one with the exact same auto as this one. It is 22/25 with psa 9.0 which was sold on ebay back in 2012. You can easily see how identical two autos are from the scans I posted below Besides, the seller's other item is Matt Huge KO 1st auto red ink listed for $499??? I was really confused and messaged him asking for its serial number and a pic of the back side and waiting for his reply. What are you guys' thought on this? I didn't pay yet as I needed to know whether it is numbered to 25 or not. Here are a link to the listing and the pictures of those two cards. Jones RD2 Red The one I bought
22/25

That has got to be the same card, autos are identical.
But he may have just cracked the psa case. I'll gladly take it if you don't want it, lol. Edited by WhiteIvy - 12 Jun 2014 at 9:19am |

I'd be more likely to bet he mis-typed the BIN price and he will send you a message, maybe it was going to be $1,475?

Wow... Good sleuthing. Hope you are wrong and you scored a steal but those do look identical and the seller has some shady feedback

Yeah, that is more than likely what's gonna happen:)
$475 was just a typo of $1,475. lol. He might be the one who bought it back in 2012 and have cracked the case but the buyer was one of our members if I remember correctly. The won price of that auction was $2,000 or something so it doesn't really make any sense anyone resells it for this low. I will keep you guys posted once I hear from the seller. |

It looks like it is still in the PSA case. Look closely.
Crowbar used to be active back in the day. Never had a problem buying from him, but you never know what he is capable of. |

I showed a lot of interest in a card of crowbars and when we agreed to a price, he never responded to close the deal. When it came time to part with his Matt Hughes ground and pound 1/10 for 100$ he wasn't willing to do it. I think he is a little shady myself.

Nice score - the card is still in the PSA case. He hasn't cracked it open.

I remember seeing these go in the early days cheap as chips. I always thought he was overhyped and would come crashing down sooner rather then later - Good call!
Well done on the pick up. Fingers crossed for you the seller actuallly lets it go and doesnt play any games.
