I think tcbusiness has earned a spot on the bad sellers list, unless he pulls the auction.

Response from tcbusiness on the A. Silva "silver" card:

Dear tcbusiness,

Is this card thick and what number out of /288 is this "silver" card?

- whiteivy13

Dear whiteivy13,

This is not the thick #ed /288 card. It is the Silver base card. Nowhere in my listing does it say it is numbered to 288 or that it is thick. Check my other listings, the ones that are numbered to /288 say they are. If you have any other questions or concerns, please ask.

Thank you,
-TCBUSINESS

Dear tcbusiness,

Yea, the problem is your "silver" card is at $28 because people think they are numbered to /288 (A. Silva base cards go for under $10). So obviously people are being mislead by this "silver" statement. There is no such thing as a "silver" base that is not thick, it is just a base card, so I'm not sure why you would include the "silver" unless you were intentionally trying to mislead people for your own gain.

I understand it doesn't say "thick" or "#/288" in your listing, but all this proves is that you know how to play the game and cover your own butt.

Again, why are people bidding $30 + on a card that sells for under $10?

Here's another one, it's only a GSP S4, but still another deceptive "silver" listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GEORGES-ST-PIERRE-2010-UFC-SILVER-/370540426231?pt=US_UFC_Trading_Cards&hash=item5645ee33f7

And, The seller confirmed that it was not a thick silver, just a base.

Update: I let him know whoever bought that card would not be happy and... he said he didn't know and changed the listing...

Wow, I just assumed that if someone was trying to sell a "silver" and claimed it was a replacement for a real silver that it would actually be thick! That's bad, not even thick, but it's a "silver", what a....
