Yes, I just got my first few Gold VD cards and all of them were in amazing condition. How did Topps F up the autos so badly but make the VD's so perfect?

The Victorious Debut cards grade real nice in most cases. Im trying to make a 9.5 BGS of set. Not far from finishing it, but i havent been focused on finishing it of late.

I agree KTkruko, the Franklin redemption autos don't seem to have the chipping problem as badly as the other rd. 1 autos.

The only Round 1 that is close to perfect that i have is the Rich Franklin that was Huerta's replacement and I believe was the last redemption to go out which may have something to do with it.

I cant imagine there will be any 9.5/10 Autos in Round 1.  I've handled many of these and never saw one that would grade out that high.  I don't think even a 9 is possible for Round 1 Autos

i think for most of those rnd 1 sigs ur gunna find the norm to be around a 7, those borders flake and chip terribly, i think there are prob some high ends aroudn but they will be true gems if they ever surface

My Guida blue auto was one of the nicest I had ever seen and it graded a BGS 8.  The corners and edges got 8s, centering was 9.5 and surface was a 9.  Not bad really in my opinion.  My red ink is another story though...I am totally expecting a 6-6.5 on that one.  Are the red inks more condition sensitive than the blue ink autos?

I got a few round 1 cards graded recently. No high grades but like DK I feared for very low grades because of the terrible chipping for rd. 1 autos.
GSP blue auto....7
Silva blue auto .....7
Jackson blue auto...7
Couture red auto....7

GSP silver....8.5
Velasquez silver....8
Like I said, nothing great but I sent in my best 4 autos condition wise and they were in as good or better shape than any other rd. 1 autos that I've seen. I think that "most" rd. 1 autos would be graded lower than a 7 so I can't complain.

Well, to my knowledge, that is still the highest graded auto as well.

Haha.
